Ola Aina insisted Morgan Gibbs-White is âkeeping it professionalâ after playing in Nottingham Forestâs pre-season match against Monaco.
Gibbs-White was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham before the transfer reportedly stalled due to an issue involving his release clause.
The England international started in Forestâs 0-0 draw with Monaco on Saturday and almost scored with a header from Callum Hudson-Odoiâs corner in the first half.
Gibbs-White scored seven goals in the Premier League last season, a career-high, and also registered eight assists as Forest finished just one point off the Champions League places.
Defender Ola Aina claimed he does not know the details of Gibbs-Whiteâs potential transfer, but ensured that the midfielder is focused on Forest for the time being.
âHe’s keeping it professional, I donât know the ins and outs of that,â Aina told Sky Sports.

âHe was here today, playing, and heâs training, keeping fit as normal.
âAt the end of the day, weâre all professionals â" weâve got a job to do and thatâs what Morgan is doing right now. Heâs keeping it professional.â
Taiwo Awoniyi made his return to the Forest squad, starting the second half against the French opposition.
The striker suffered a ruptured intestine on May 11 and was placed into an induced coma after requiring surgery.
