Rasmus Hojlund could leave Manchester United for AC Milan before the close of the summer transfer window, according to The Sun and Fabrizio Romano.
The Sun has noted that Hojlund did not initially want to leave Man Utd and was adamant on staying, but he is now coming to terms with the harsh truth that his chances of playing in the first team on a regular basis will be limited because of the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
Romano has reported that Milan and Man Utd are now advancing on a deal over Hojlund.Â
The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has written on X: âAC Milan keep advancing on Rasmus Højlund deal with Man United.
âTalks ongoing on player side to discuss the project as Højlund is opening doors to AC Milan.
ââ¬6m loan fee, â¬45m buy option clause and salary covered â" details revealed last week, agreement closer.â
