Maresca Urges Man City to Sign Chelsea Duo
Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca is keen to be reunited with two of his most-trusted Chelsea players, and Tottenham Hotspur are entering talks for USMNT forward Folarin Balogun in a deal that could be worth €60 million.

Enzo Maresca is undertaking his first season as Manchester City manager, although he is hoping to sign a pair of his former players from Chelsea. Maresca is already widely reported to want midfielder Enzo Fernández, who has publicly been open to leaving Stamford Bridge this summer. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea's desired £120 million transfer fee is the main hurdle to any deal, given they are keen to keep him. Romano also reports that Maresca is keen to sign Chelsea winger Pedro Neto as a possible replacement for Savinho.
Tottenham Hotspur have laid the groundwork for discussions around a transfer for AS Monaco and USMNT striker Folarin Balogun that could be worth an estimated €60 million, reports French newspaper L'Equipe. There has been interest in the 25-year-old throughout the summer with English and Spanish clubs closely monitoring him. Newcastle United are the only other club named in the report. Fabrizio Romano adds that Galatasaray and Saudi Pro League clubs have also called about Balogun in recent days.
Defender Myles Lewis-Skelly has been offered to Manchester United as Arsenal look to recover back some of the £75 million they spent to acquire Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimarães, reports The Guardian. Chelsea have also been made aware of the 19-year-old's availability, but it isn't yet clear if the Blues will make a move with his prospective value expected to be around £45 million. Newcastle's Lewis Hall is still the primary left-back option for United, but Matthias Jaissle is determined for the 21-year-old to stay having already lost Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon.
Al Nassr are showing an interest in goalkeeper Mike Maignan as questions arise surrounding his future at AC Milan, reports Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. There will be a face-to-face meeting to clarify the respective points of view from Maignan and Milan, while Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr are looking for a new No. 1 to replace Bento. It isn't yet known if the 31-year-old would be open to moving to the Saudi Pro League.
