Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, according to Sky Sport Switzerland. Isak has made it clear that he wants to join the Premier League champions, who have now agreed on a five-year deal with the Sweden international, who is happy with the salary that the Reds have offered to him.
It is now up to Liverpool and Newcastle to strike an agreement between each other over the transfer fee needed for Isak. The Reds are reportedly ready to make an initial offer of £100 million for the former Real Sociedad striker, but Newcastle are demanding £150 million.
With Isak keen on a move to Liverpool and having already told Newcastle that he wants to leave for Anfield, it seems that it is only a matter of time before the Premier League champions and the Carabao Cup winners come to a compromise over the transfer fee needed to get the deal done.
