Aston Villa are interested in signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. Calvert-Lewin is a free agent at the moment after leaving Everton at the end of last season, and Villa are among the clubs that are keen on securing the services of the striker.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Villa have asked Calvert-Lewin about his salary demands to move to Unai Emeryâs side as a free agent. With Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio having left Villa following their loan spells, manager Unai Emery needs to beef up his attacking options and help star striker Ollie Watkins.
Villa, though, are not the only club that are keen on Calvert-Lewin. The Sun has reported that AC Milan and Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on the 28-year-old striker, who has earned 11 caps for England so far in his career.
