Bitesize Prediction: FC Dallas vs St. Louis City – 20/07/25

Competition: MLS

Market: Goal to be scored in both halves

Odds: 1/2 @ Pribet

Two camps who find themselves scrapping it out at the foot of the Western Conference table, Dallas will welcome St. Louis to the Toyota Stadium in the early hours of Sunday.

Starting with the hosts, while Dallas might have clinched an action-packed 4-2 victory away at Sporting Kansas last month, it appears that was nothing more than a minor boost for Los Toros. Enduring what has been another nightmare Western Conference campaign, they have now collected just a single point from any of their previous five consecutive MLS appearances. Signing off June with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of San Diego, it is no secret that Eric Quill̢۪s men have gained a reputation for their glaring issues on home soil. Including a rollercoaster 4-2 loss against San Jose on June 26th, Dallas have lost all of their last three straight showdowns at the Toyota Stadium by an aggregate score of 9-5. It should also be highlighted, continuing on from last season, Sunday̢۪s hosts have registered just a sole MLS clean sheet in Texas since July 2024.

As for the visitors, managing to claim what was a much-welcomed boost earlier in the week as they snatched a 2-1 victory at home against Portland, St. Louis will be desperate to use that performance as a platform to build on. However, despite drawing a line under their three-match losing rut in midweek, the Missouri-based outfit find themselves in an almost identical position to Sunday̢۪s opponents. Getting July underway with a frantic 3-2 defeat away at Real Salt Lake, interim boss David Critchley has a major jobs on his hands. Watching their US Open Cup adventure come to an end on May 22nd as they fell to another 3-2 loss against Minnesota, St. Louis have also shown some glaring issues away from Energizer Park. In fact, Critchely̢۪s side have lost all of their previous six straight away fixtures by an aggregate score of 17-6.

Bet: Goal to be scored in both halves at FC Dallas vs St. Louis City 1/2 for Sunday’s MLS contest @ Pribet
