Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown said: âAlejandro Garnacho is certainly one of the names on Tottenhamâs list.
âIt looks like they might be losing Son, whether thatâs to the MLS or the Saudi league, so they are already looking at options to replace him.
âGarnacho has been a very impressive player for Man United. Heâs got loads of promise and Iâm surprised Amorim is so willing to let him go.
âI think heâd be an excellent addition for Tottenham and heâs definitely one they are interested in.
âThe only issue I have is what the price tag will be, because Man United publicly pushing him out has shown their hand, they need to get rid of him.
âTheyâre going to struggle to get big money for him so they might have to drop the asking price.
âI think itâs one that will happen in the closing stages of the window, when United need to sell and Tottenham can take advantage of that situation.
âAs I say, particularly if they lose Son, because heâs going to need replacing.â
