RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko wants to join Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. With Newcastle United also keen on the Slovenia international, his mind is made up – he wants to move to Old Trafford.
Newcastle have had a first bid for Sesko already turned down. Last seasonâs Carabao Cup winners are looking at the 22-year-old striker as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, who is on the radar of Liverpool. The Premier League champions have had an initial offer of £110 million plus add-ons for Isak already turned down and are planning to make a second bid.
With Sesko keen on a move to Man Utd despite interest from Newcastle, the Red Devils believe that they are now in a very strong position for the striker and are planning to make a bid. It remains to be seen how much Man Utd eventually offer for Sesko, and whether or not RB Leipzig accepts it.
