Leeds United offered Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi

Leeds United have been offered the chance to sign Mehdi Taremi from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. Leeds, who will play in the Premier League this season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, are on the hunt for a new striker.

Journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR: “Leeds have been offered the chance to sign Mehdi Taremi from Inter Milan and it’s not one they’re totally discounting.

“He’s a high-calibre player and he’s available, Inter want to move him on because then they can have another go at signing Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.

“So in an odd way, Leeds could actually help their rivals out. In actual fact, I’m surprised that Leeds haven’t gone in strong for Josh Sargent, I really am. Is that one to totally discount? Maybe not. I think Leeds are waiting for the window to come to them somewhat.

“I do think there’s interest in Taremi, they know he’s a good striker, and they’ll have advice from Red Bull. Leeds have one of the best scouting networks in the world available to them now.”
