Manchester United are hoping to get the deal sealed for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko by Saturday, according to TBR.
Sesko has decided to pick Man United over Newcastle United, and the Red Devils are now in talks with RB Leipzig over agreeing upon a deal for the Slovenia international striker.
Journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR: “This deal is now accelerating â€" Sesko informed Newcastle and Leipzig officially on Tuesday that he would be joining Manchester United.
“Personal terms were never going to be an issue, and broad agreement is in place for those.
“I am told that United would love to get the deal over the line by Saturday to have him presented to the crowd against Fiorentina.
“One thing I am told is that Ruben Amorim, internally, is delighted to be getting his new number 9 â€" this team is now becoming an Amorim XI â€" from the inverted wings back, to the two CAMs to the number nine â€" this is now an Amorim team heading into the new season.â€
