Newcastle United are interested in signing Jorgen Strand Larsen from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport.
The Magpies are keen on signing a striker before the summer transfer window closes, especially if Alexander Isak leaves for Liverpool, and Larsen has emerged on the Carabao Cup winnersâ radar.
Newcastle have done background checks on Larsen and have received positive results about the strikerâs profile and off-pitch character. Wolves, though, do not want to sell the 25-year-old Norway international forward, who made his loan move to the Premier League club permanent only this summer after spending the 2024-25 campaign on loan from Celta de Vigo. The striker made 30 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves last season, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists in the process.
