Manchester City winger Savinho is keen on a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to Mick Brown.
The former Tottenham scout has revealed that Spurs manager Thomas Frank is ready to make the Brazilian winger an important player in his first team.
Brown told Football Insider: âSavinho wants to make that move to Tottenham.
âHeâs in and out of the team at City, but if he goes to Spurs, Thomas Frank will offer him more regular football and an improved standing in the squad.
âThatâs what he wants to do, play more regular football than heâs currently getting.
âItâs something Man City have to live with and theyâve always managed to do well.
âThey want to compete in all of the cup competitions and in Europe, so they have to have a squad of quality players so they can rotate
âThere are players there who could start for any team in the league, but they donât at Man City.
âMost of the time, theyâre happy to do that because theyâre winning trophies and getting paid a fair bit alongside that.
âBut in this instance, Savinho has been frustrated with not playing as regularly as he would like, and wants to go and make his mark somewhere else.â
