Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has asked the North London club to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that Palace are encouraging Tottenham to make a bid for Eze, as Arsenal wait to make an offer of their own for the England international attacking midfielder.
With Son Heung-min having left for Los Angeles FC and James Maddison out injured for most of this season, Tottenham need a new attacking player who can operate as a number 10 and play out wide. Although Eze would be perfect for the role, Spurs have not made a bid for him.
Eze has a release clause of £68 million in his contract at Palace, but it runs out on August 15. Arsenal are keen on the Englishman, but the Gunners have yet to make an offer for him.
