Liverpool are ready to sell Harvey Elliott for £40 million in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on a deal for the English youngster, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
Journalist Pete OâRourke told Football Insider: âReluctantly, Liverpool would consider letting Elliott go for the right fee.
âThereâs been talk of £40million plus a buy-back clause, or a £50million fee without a buy-back clause.
âRB Leipzig seem to be the ones leading the chase for Elliott right now, and theyâve opened talks with Liverpool to discuss a potential deal for the 22-year-old.
âIf Tottenham are in the market for attacking midfielders, Harvey Elliott would be somebody who would figure high up their list.
âIt could be an astute signing if they were to get him, but it does seem that other clubs are further advanced in the pursuit of Elliott, rather than Spurs.â
