Chelsea are ready to include Christopher Nkunku in a deal for RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons, according to TBR. Simons has told Chelsea that he wants to make the switch to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window and has also intimated to other suitors that he only wants to join the Blues.
RB Leipzig and Chelsea are now in talks over signing Simons. The Bundesliga club want £60 million for the winger. Chelsea are willing to include Nkunku in the deal, with the player himself considering his options and could leave the UEFA Conference League winners.
Journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR: “Having landed Jorrel Hato, Chelsea are planning to bring in his compatriot Xavi Simons â€" I am told Chelsea are very excited by Simons and despite already having talents like Cole Palmer and Estevao, they are moving for him.
“As TBR Football revealed, Morgan Rogers would be Chelsea’s top target, but getting him out of Aston Villa has proven too difficult. That said, they firmly believe Simons to be another enormous talent.
“Chelsea also insists that Alejandro Garnacho remains a player of interest, and they have not ruled out a deal for him and are keeping abreast of that situation. Garnacho would like to stay in the Premier League should, as expected, he leave Old Trafford.â€
