Eguma urges Enyimba players to improve finishing ahead Abia derby
Enyimba technical adviser, Stanley Eguma, has stressed the need for his players to be more clinical in front of goal as the season progresses.
The People’s Elephant have scored just once in two Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matches this season, despite creating several chances.
In their last outing against Niger Tornadoes in Aba, Enyimba squandered a number of clear opportunities before settling for a draw.
Eguma admitted that his side must sharpen their attacking edge.
“We created so many scoring opportunities but didn’t take them. That’s one area we must improve on,” he said.
Enyimba will take on their Oriental rivals, Abia Warriors, in a matchday three fixture in Umuahia this weekend.
The Aba giants currently sit sixth on the NPFL table with four points.
